Moreover, Benzema’s teammate at Real Madrid, David Alaba, voted for Lionel Messi in the FIFA World Cup 2022. When people asked why he did this, he justified this move by saying that whatever he did was with joint consultation from my Austrian National Team.
Fans say that Messi deserves this award as he brought the World Cup home after 32 years and performed exceptionally well during the tournament.
Messi also scored 15 goals and had 14 assists for his club PSG before the World Cup 2022 campaign.
